Ryan is a member of the investor relations and client services team for Shopoff Securities Inc., the broker-dealer for The Shopoff Properties Trust, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Ryan works directly with current and potential clients to provide investment information and raise capital.
Ryan has held financial analyst positions with several leading Southern California companies, including a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), a private homebuilder ranked among the top 20 in Southern California with revenues in excess of $250 million, and a retail leader with sales of more than $1 billion. He also has a strong background in financial planning as an independent advisor.
Ryan also was the land acquisitions manager for a regional homebuilder ranked 53rd of the top 100 builders in 2006 whose revenues exceeded $550 million. In this position, Ryan ensured the financial quality and feasibility of potential land acquisitions, assisted in the land acquisition process by identifying potential sites from raw land to finished lots, and participated in due diligence. He created land development budgets, capital spending projections and forecasted project revenues. In addition, Ryan reviewed cash flows and underwriting for prospective investments, conducted market research, and negotiated purchase agreements.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance, from California State University, San Bernardino. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and a Life and Disability Insurance License.
