Edward Fitzpatrick is Senior Vice President Special Projects for Shopoff Realty Investments and the Shopoff Properties Trust. His primary focus is on helping to create and implement processes and systems for the investment portfolio.
In addition, Mr. Fitzpatrick is a member of the Investment Committee and the liaison to a core group of the firm’s long-term strategic partnerships. Other duties include maintaining working relationships with many municipalities and agencies that are key to the ongoing success of the development business.
With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate profession, Mr. Fitzpatrick has developed over 60 projects across more than 10,000 acres of land and approximately two million square feet of industrial, office, retail, recreational and multi-family buildings. His projects have generated over $130 million in profits.
In 2000, following several decades in executive positions with leading property development companies in Southern California, Mr. Fitzpatrick joined Shopoff Realty Investments' predecessor, Eastbridge Partners. Previously, he co-founded a San Diego-based property management and development firm that handled industrial, office and retail properties in San Diego County and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before relocating to California in 1984, Mr. Fitzpatrick held executive-level positions with the development departments of several East Coast firms including International Paper Realty Corporation.
Mr. Fitzpatrick is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Notre Dame Law School. His passion for real estate development flourished when he founded a building rehabilitation and repair company as a law school student. Mr. Fitzpatrick was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1975, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Building Industry Association.
